The Directorate of Admissions (DOA) was established in the year 2007 with an aim of streamlining the admission process of students seek admission into Research, Post Graduate, 5 Years M.Sc. Integrated, Diploma and Certificate courses in Yogi Vemana University (YVU) and all affiliated colleges in the Yogi Vemana University area. The Directorate of Admissions is independent body with a director and a team of central admission committee members drawn from different departments to support and monitor admission process effectively. The Director directly reports to the Vice-Chancellor for its functions.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has recognized the Directorate of Admissions, YVU and has authorized the Directorate to establish “Helpline Center” for Web Counseling of ICET, EdCET, EAMCET, etc. by providing good infrastructure.
