- The department of chemistry and Indian Association of Nuclear Chemists and Allied Scientists (IANCAS) combinely organized a 9 day workshop on “Radiochemistry and Application of Radioisotopes” in the university campus.
- The department organized a Guest Lecture on the occasion of IInd Annual Meeting of P.C. Ray Chemical Society, YVU. Prof. A. Sri Krishna, Department of Organic Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore delivered a talk on “Ireland-claisen Rearrangement and RCM Based Strategy to Sesquiterpenes Containing Vicinal Quaternary Carbon Atoms”.
